Oh definately, it is about time Britain pulled their funding
Yes, I agree, it became a farce years ago. We're not going to win this year either (I don't think the song is that great).
We should pull out.

and because all the countries votefor countries they like and are next to, we don't stand a chance.

i think we should bouycot the rest of it. NOONE watch and especialy don't vote on it.
Of course it's a farce! A farce and wonderfully camp, that's what makes it excellent viewing.

I watch it every year and it always makes me chuckle, I personally think it's fabulous. Where else can you see and hear the singing talents (?) from countries you've never even heard of?
I only watch the voting part.............I howl with laughter at some of the results....especially when Wogan predicts them so accurately
Not Wogan anymore Craft :-(

This year we get Graham Norton, which should add more to the whole night's campness- I can't wait!

of course it is, we will never win, i only watch it for wogans chatter.

Dave.
Well, at least there is a better voting system this year.

we should definitely pull out.
Personally I thought it was a much better show than previous years and the voting much fairer.

Oh yes. I only heard of the new voting system when eurovision ( i only watched the final and i think i psoted this after one of the semis) actually started the other night.

Its a lot fairer but the expert judges are only from a handful of countries so they could still tend towards countries they like.
I thought it was a bit boring this year, the songs all seemed to be ballads instead of the crazy euro disco stuff that is so funny to watch.
I thought our entry was better this year than in previous years not particularly because of the song, but because of Jade who is a fantastic singer and deserved her place as our representative.
Graham Norton was also a bit reserved in his comments, I wish he had gone for it a bit more and taken the mikey out of the contestants a bit more!
I am not fussed one way or the other if we pull out or not, it makes for an ok evenings viewing, we record it and fast foward through any boring bits!
Agree that the voting is the best part of the show as we try to second guess which country is going to award top marks to their mates and it was still going on between some countries!
