My daughters second name is Amy, I chose it after watching the A Team just before she was born, the female co-star was called Amy.

Well done Amy Williams - what a cool, level headed young lady she is. No sign of nerves.

I heard the commentator say there was some dispute over her helmet, the Americans were disputing something or the other. Sour grapes if you ask me.

I sat up until 2.00 last night watching the ice dancing, but fell asleep before it finished. The only event I can't quite get excited over is the curling. A big lump of rock being hurled along the floor and two girls sweeping up furiously as if they are cleaning the kitchen floor because their mother-in-law is paying a visit !!

Also, the Canadians were a bit tight on the old bunch of flowers they presented to Amy and the 2 german girls who came 2nd and 3rd.
