Spiral - BBC 4 Saturday
I am watching this third series(waiting for the next 'The Killing'). Didn't watch the first 2. Were they of similar standard? Does anyone know or believe this is an accurate representation of Parisian police behaviour?

This is the 3rd series of Spiral and not having watched any of the preceding two I think some of the finer points of the dynamics between the characters is lost on me. We have watched from the beginning of this particular series. Apparently, they are very graphic in the portrayal of the 'injuries' to the two girls (in our house this is mitigated by Mrs jth hurriedly hissing "Don't Look....!!!" and then giving me the all clear to continue viewing when we have moved on.)
If this is a 'true' reflection of Parisian policing, it's an eye-opener, isn't it ?
I suppose it's probably as true as "Waking the dead" or "Prime Suspect" are true of the British system.
