Retuning tv

After retuning the tv yesterday everything was fine, today all channels except BBC1 & 2 are scrambled or not available. We retuned again and they came back.But as soon as you try to record a programme the message comes up that this channel is scrambled or not available again. We watch it through a humax box.Has anybody any ideas what we can do? Thanks for any advice.

It could be nothing at all to do with your Humax box. It might well be a combination of an inadequate aerial and the current high atmospheric pressure.

Thanks Chris, we have checked the aerial strength and it gave readings of 100% for quality and 78% for strength, the picture when we can get is is perfect but when we try to record another channel is when it happens.
