I have just watched a programme called Geordie Shore. I am absolutely gobsmacked by the antics of these young 'ladies' and gentlemen and was just wondering if this is a true representation of Geordie folk? I do know a couple of Geordie men but they have not lived in Newcastle for quite some time.
They are not Geordie folk. They are Essex folk who have been persuaded by filthy lucre to pretend that they are more refined than they really are. Queencharlotte should know all about Geordies; she was married to one for long enough.
Never seen it, flip. What were they doing? I might guess they were acting like a lot of people do late at night in town centres. Even so-called 'sedate' Isle of Man isn't immune. You only need to read the court reports in the next couple of issues of the local paper.
There was one 'lady' who said she had a boyfriend. She then went into a hot-tub with strangers and took her top off. She then (ahem) did something to another young man and I presume she then slept with him as it looked that way from the angle of the camera. Just lots of sleeping around really without a care in the world. Frightening!
not just Georgies!...............come here to South Wales, the antics are no better!.........it's widespread I think!.....not good though!...they are maniac!.....no respect!..........
sorry ummmm, but you lead a very sheltered life!...............Happens everywhere now!...........know it does in Brighton and many other nearby towns and cities!.....
I once took my boss from Ipswich for a meal one Thursday evening to a restaurant in Micklegate which is famous for it's 'pub run'. He was gobsmacked when he saw the 'outfits' some of the girls were wearing...............
Having just got back home from Ipswich (on a typical Friday night), I can only assume, Craft, that your boss never ventured into the town centre after dark!
