I live in a mobile home and do not have a roof aerial...i have freeview on my living room tv with an aerial stood in the window - i can get freeview fine on this.

I have just put a new tv in my dining room (away from the window) and the aerial will only pick up some of the channels......how can I resolve this....what is the purpose of an aerial booster? Would this work?

hi paul'what sort of aerial do you have in your window?
An aerial booster is just a specialised amplifier designed to increase radio and TV signals. Fitting one will help; whether it helps enough is just 'suck it and see' unfortunately.

its not a normal aerial, was from argos black thing that stands up lol!!

I got my daughter a 'high gain' aeriel from argos which improved her signal by quite a bit.
boosters are rubbish, they only improve signal in a good signal area anyway,so whats the point???buy a outside ariel, fix as high as poss,ps when trimming ariel coax dont let any fraid wire touch the copper core, signal will go completely
check ariels on your street look which way they point, and point ariel same way
