I remember her in Rebecca as Mrs Danvers. She had one of those 'character' faces. Not the most beautiful woman in the world, but a wonderful actress and a face that could tell a thousand tales. RIP.

She was fantastic. She had a brother Daniel who was also a brilliant actor and who I believed died at a fairly young age. He had a wonderful voice too.

I loved her father Raymond in Dr Kildare - Dr Gillespie.

Oh she was a very good actress!!! I seem to remember her in a television drama years ago where either 'she' was held captive in an upstairs room or 'she' was holding someone captive? I remember it was so frightening to me at the time, I had bad dreams.
