"The Killing" (US version)

Have to admit that, despite being hooked to the Danish version of this, we quite like the US remake. However, is it our imagination or have they "poached" the background music from the Danish original? It seems to us to be very similar, and there are also overtones of the Swedish "Wallander" background music... or are we going mad?

Hope someone can clarify ....

The music is the same. We noticed that, too.

They decided to use the same music as the original. I agree, it is very like Wallander, the same bleak scenery.

Well there you go...I didn't even know it was a remake! I thought the Pilot was very good and set the scene well. I can't help thinking the guy who is her Cop partner is a bit dodgy.
