we are big fans of emmerdale
regarding the present arron story line only
we think its gone too far with arrons anger and storming off when anyone tries to talk to him its becoming very repetitive and spoiling what has become a good tv character
people by now would just not bother with him (even paddy)
and whats a guy like him doing living in a village he hates he's a city boy,
its all going not very convincingly

Emmerdale's the only soap I watch, but it's really trying my patience. They seem to have thrown away all of the character's development of the last couple of years. They also seem to be making Rhona more unsympathetic, so that you start to wonder what either Paddy or Marlon saw in her.

It's the same with Leyla and David, which was becoming increasingly repetitive and boring. I can only hope she's gone for good.
I love Emmers too but even I have started raising my eyes skywards when Aaran "does a moody". Leyla is really leaving the show so unless she comes back and takes David with her, she's gone.
Yeah I agree. I hated charactor when he first came into the programme but eventually softend just a little. But I hate the guy again now and hope he leaves soon. Like you say he hates village life and should be in the city.

Actually with all his anger shouldn't he be in Eastenders? lol
Sorry.. I should of mentioned that I am talking about Aarron.
How DO you spell his name anyway?
Hi Deggers316, I feel the same way. It's like they can't be bothered to work on the storyline re Aaron. The grumpy and moody thing grates on me and has been done with Aaron far too much especially as he is such a good actor and can offer much more.
And as for Leyla.. glad she's gone! Now if we can just get rid of Frank Kelly who plays Declans dad and Brenda, I'll be happy :)
That's it supersuzy. Goodoh.
The sooner they write Aaron out altogether the better.
if they got him to smile occasionally, might make all the difference. I think he is trying to get himself locked up, guilt over jacksons death.
Exactly em10 - he want's to be punished, it's not a terrible storyline, but it does seem like a step backwards with Aaron, a shame as he had become a real favourite of mine.
Emmerdale's the only soap i watch regularly now as the others have declined so much, but it seems to be following suit, as with stories already mentioned, plus tiresome Amy and Marlon' silly crushes and thank god the Jimmy storyline is calming down now.
I watched it last night and it was appalling

Chas headbutting the side of the door was pathetic.

I know they are only soaps but talk about having a storyline and then flogging it to death
Dodger666: Aaron is acting out scenes as instructed by the writers. Writing him out also measn a young actor will lose his job
I agree with you Jimmy, It was so bad!!
You could literally see her move her head in such a way that in no way resembled what would happen in an accident..It just looked way too false. Was silly.
I have been away so missed a few episodes. what happened in Aaron's court case? What was the final verdict?
He got a "not guilty verdict"
Thanks Fredkins - guessed he must have been found not guilty, but fed up with all his continuing sulks now, I bet we will have this "feeling guilty" thing on for ages yet ....... I much prefer him when he smiles.
Yes Anne86 so do I, I think he is a looker and his character is spoiling the show.
I must admit, Emmerdale is the only soap we watch and it is the best out of the lot of them. But the Aaron storyline has been so annoying, I'm depressed, I'm shouting, I'm punching someone. I think the writers need to change it up a bit!
