How come they happened to film the girl telling her sob story about never knowing her dad and leaving her house on the day of the auditions?

It was obvious she was going to do well and especially being on last as they never show some idiot in the last few minutes.

Otherwise the show was not to bad last night.

They don't. The auditions are filmed and then they film the back story afterwards.

Can't believe this is a surprise to anyone, it's a TV programme and has to make money. Read Chart Throb, Ben Elton, a fantastic book, I know all I know about these types of shows from it, never having watched one!
