Apart from the heinous crimes he committed, I don't know much about Fred West.......I think that it will be interesting to have certain parts of the investigation fully explained; something that was denied to the British Public (and the families) by his cowardly suicide.

Well I watched this and thought it was very good and will watch it again next week. Brilliantly acted, especially Fred West and the AA. My daughter used to be an Appropriate Adult in Brighton and the worst she ever got was kids getting drunk and smashing things up. The horror of having Fred West as your first case - OMG nightmare! What an evil pair they were, horrific.

I'm glad I watched it as it brought out things I never knew. I think Janet was extremely naive to carry on with being an appropriate adult, and, really, her name should not have been put forward in the first place. I thought the acting was superb.

could someone clear something up for me.Does the AA have the same duty of confidentiality as a solicitor and if not why was she so reticent when talking with police.Thought prog was fair and showed just how different some peoples minds work.True sociopaths the pair of them.

I totally agree with hc4361. Under no circumstances would I want to watch anything to do with the Wests and in no way can it be called entertainment.
