What a brilliant relationship the script writer has thought up between Martin & Louisa! Martin is so eccentric but so loving towards Louisa & the baby. Love watching the interaction between them both.

Lovely, lovely programme. Martin Clunes is brilliant in everything he does. Brightens up my Monday evenings. Tonight's end scene with Martin naming the baby was just so emotional

love this programme :-) we all walk around trying to be "careful" of each other and deal with everyone "in the proper manner". Not in the pc way ,but,just the way so many people are brought up to behave "politely" in given situations. Martin just ploughs through all that with never a thought, and it is so great cos he's not doing it to rebel,but,just to get "the patient dealt with as soon as possible,for goodness sake!"

She loves him Dido - actually I can sort of understand why. He's a challenge!! There is a soft centre in there - although I sometimes think he may be autistic!!
