Im looking for a program that Martin Clunes stared in the late 1990s. Im not sure if it was a series or just a one off. I never watched it, all I can remember is it being advertised.
It was set in World war two and I think Martin Clunes played a spitfire pilot.

Yes, Martin Clunes did not play a Spitfire Pilot, judderman, but Group Captain Barker, the officer commanding an RAF base in East Anglia which had to play host to a squadron or two of USAAF B17 Flying Fortress bomber crews.

It was extremely good – a mixture of comedy and poignancy. A typically brilliant offering from the late John “Only Fools” Sullivan.

Andrew Marr is nothing like Martin Clunes. I met Martin in a pub in London in the 90's and he was lovely.
