It's getting silly. Watched Corrie since the 70s, missed a couple of weeks this year when away for holidays, never bothered watching it since. Series link in sky+ deleted.

It needs to go back to 2 episodes a week to improve the quality of the plots.

It's a shame. It was brilliant. Not any more.

Maybe he and the woman had a child, he did a runner (hence ending up homeless) and she saw his name in the paper (as supplied by Norris) or he stole her money, wasted it on his 'acts' and then ended up homeless.

I've just been reading a Corrie blog and it says the woman is an old flame. Years ago he left her standing at the altar and hasn't been in touch with her since.

Have always loved Dennis, hope he stays in as a nice chappy. He always seems much younger than Rita but are they supposed to be the same age?

I like him too neti, I didn't realise (in real life) he's 75! He looks much younger to me. Barbara Knox is 3 yrs older...No idea how old they're supposed to be in Corrie.

Didn't he have a thing with Elsie Tanner. I'm not sure, I didn't watch it that far
back. I remember Annie Walker, she used to make me laugh and Hilda Ogden.
Corrie seems to have lost a lot of it's humour these days.
