I've just looked to see whats on TV tonight and the whole evening is devoted to cr@p, not on any side is there anything worth a look. Is it just me or do you think Saturday evening is dire these days?
I'll be putting my 'Downton' DVD on I had for xmas. Not seen as yet being as I was in hospital when it was shown.

It's dreadful! Just watched the prog about Tosca on BBC 2, then started to cook dinner. From now on it is awful. Luckily we have some programmes recorded from earlier in the week which we will look at.
Considering most people don't go out in January to save money after Christmas, all the TV companies should hang their heads in shame!

Two years ago i remember clicking through the myriad of channels, adverts,adverts, seen it, rubbish, adverts etc.. £150 a year for this?
I feel quite smug after giving up on the license and reading this. Thanks!

There are really only 3 months of TV per year that has watchable stuff IMO - that's the Autumn season from Sept to Dec.

it's just your average Saturday night - nothing to watch on telly - a re-run of Sunday's episode of Sherlock on BBC4, currently watching Ocean's Thirteen for the umpteenth time on Sky may watch some Spanish football later - if nothing else the players are rather easy on the eye................ otherwise nada

I'm watching something about the Amazon, then Electricity if it's Jim Khalili - both on BBC4, but it's a poor selection tonight.

I have just said exactly the same. there is nothing on TV tonight worth watching. Even looking through the Sky channels, there is nothing worthwhile on (I am so glad I cancelled my Sky subscription). Looks like I will be watching DVD Keeping Up Appearances-I do like this series.

Mr Alba is watching Casualty, I'm frequenting the MOFC (thankfully that's there)
We did say the TV was appalling tonight. Transporter 2 is quite good if you like action/thrillers.
