I have a disagreement with the wife (only a gentle one) I say the first show is pre recorded as they have to get the introductions in and the training shoots and the comments from the so called judges (2 out of three aren't bad) and still get it fitted in between the many adverts therefore I say it is pre recorded and edited to be able accomplish this.

According to Radio Times both shows are live - but very carefully timed to the second.

Thank you but I still need some convincing as I don't believe all the papers say but I'll be the first to admit it if I am wrong.
