There was a tv series on around 1993-94 on a sunday night on ITV, it was set in the 1950's and was about a girl who went to finishing school as she was a tear away, and she set fire to her last school or something! When she got there she snuck out and started dancing to Rock and Roll, and that's what it was all about, dancing in the 1950's. All i can remember is that they all hung out at the local diner, and it had a cool juke box. Can't remember the name of the programme and it's bugging me! They even released a soundtrack, and it had an orange cover with a picture of the cast dancing on it!

Wild guess!

Lipstick on my collar?

Never watched it, be think it had something to do with dancing!

Im sure it was "Sex,Chips n Rock n Roll".

It wasn't Sex, Chips n Rock n Roll as that was quite recent. Although Lipstick on your collar does sound familiar.  I know the prog your talking about as I used to watch it too, I remember there was a guy with black greased hair n he was kinda cute ;-)

I actually have the soundtrack at home and until I get there Im unable to help! Its REALLY bugging me too now

It was Lipstick on my collar.  It starred Letitia Dean (Sharon from Eastenders).
