I'm not sure if this is available in the UK yet, I acquired it through *cough* other means, but if you like blood and gore and are a fantasy fan, I highly recommend watching this the first opportunity you get. It's absolutely mega!

Honestly McFluffy, it really is that good. I've just finished watching the last episode in S1, and was like "wow!!!".

I don't recommend watching it with children- Lord of the Rings it aint. It's got enough nudity, sex scenes, blood and gore in it to give them nightmares for years!

You won't be disappointed. It's a bit of slog to make out who's who at first, but it sorts it out nicely 'bout halfway through. You'll be glued!

I think it is on SKY Atlantic. We don't have sky,(poor us) Son no.2 in OZ is going to send us some DVDs that he has recorded. hopefully.

Yep, season 1 was broadcast several times on Sky Atlantic last year. What a cracking series it was. For those who hadn't read the books, there were some great plot twists and turns.

B00 - if you think Game Of Thrones has lots of nudity, sex, language, etc. - have you seen Spartacus : Blood And Sand or Spartacus : Gods Of The Arena? They make Game of Thrones look tame in comparison! That might have sold if for a few more people!
