Good news, new series starts tomorrow on itv at 9pm, really liked the first series

I love the way the two of them blend together.I think Suranne Jones is better suited to this than Coronation Street.

So did I although I don't really know which one was Scott and which one Bailey. Good stories though and not too much personal life. Just enough to make me wonder if the blonde one is going off with her paramour or just going to have an affair but still keep her husband. As for the brunette one, I couldn't believe her stupidity with the lawyer who was obviously a conniving sod.

Never saw the first series, but after reading a good preview in the Daily Express yesterday decided to watch it and I wasn't disappointed. Having grown up in Manchester too meant I recognised many of the locations and yes it is still as grim as I remember it.
