...the watch Frank got from his father has been mentioned on a number of occassions as has Frank's love of it .Once when he and Jenny had been together at his house when he didn't realise his mum was there she asked about the missing watch...again his mum asked in the factory and he said he'd spent the previous evening in the bath and an early night...and finally last night when Sally realised the watch wasn't with Frank's personal effects...why because Jenny took it from the body after killing him for the reasons listed in previous posts... imho anyway...

Because at this stage in their investigations the have no reason to suspect her (or even be aware of her existence, for that matter), especially while all the evidence points towards Carla.
