I thought that was a bit strange, too, leaving it to someone who can't cook to save his life. You'd think she'd have been more inclined to leave it to someone like Ciaran (sp?) (you know, that bloke out of Boyzone). :o)
i have just about given up on corrie, the storylines are so daft at times, and then there is the soooo long saga of Audrey and the salon that i would heartily wish that Audrey retires and gives us some peace, as to Gail, is there a more odd looking woman in the show.
I don't think they know what to do with this Sean character now, they have changed him to be thick as two short planks (sorry 2sp!) and really soppy. When he first joined Corrie he was just hilarious and was one of the stars of the show, now I'm sick of him - they should get rid of him (but keep Marcus, he's lovely!)
If Ciaran's not coming back, I guess that answers the question why the recipe wasn't left to him then. OK, Betty could have left it to Rita. After all, isn't she supposed to be a bit of a dabhand when it comes to cooking?
