I watched Nina Conti, the ventriloquist, last night. Most of the programme was funny. You can't see her mouth moving when she "makes the dummy talk"
The programme will be repeated on BBC 4 next Tuesday, 12th June at midnight. Only watch it if you can record it for viewing at a convenient time.
In the Radio Times the programme is available on Freeview 9, Freesat 107, Sky116 and Virgin 107

She was great on QI a while back.

I saw the QI programme, too. I liked it when Nina asked Grandma about her journey and got the reply "Very uncomfortable, I was sent by DHL"

isn't she Tom Conti's daughter? I haven't seen her, but find ventriloquists a bit odd.

There is no new series of QI yet. She is Tom's daughter

I think ventriloquists are similar to clowns in being slightly creepy

I just looked her up on Wiki and then looked her father up
I did not realise he considered standing as a tory

she was also on Russell Howard's Good News the other week and I was glad I had remembered my tenna!
