you was and them things

Bradley Walsh, the quizmaster, on The Chase programme, is an excellent game show host with a great sense of humour who really adds value to the programme and I like him very much, but I do wish that someone would ask him to say "you were" instead of "you was" and "those things" instead of "them things"
I know that this is common parlance in some parts of the South East of England, but it's a pity, (or am I being pedantic)

An illiterate screeching game show host I wouldn't annoy me so mush, but he has had an expensive education! Yes, I'm a pedant and proud of it, it's my dream to wander round with a big thick red marker pen correcting apostrophe's', I'm the reincarnation of, I think, Keith Waterhouse!
actually zebo, "score 35 or less" is correct. A score is not a discrete quantity. It may not be possible to score a fraction of a point in this particular case but scores are considered to be continuous numbers. That is why you can have a high score or a low score. You can't use high and low for a discrete quantity (unless you use the word "count" in your sentence which would then effectively change a discrete quantity into a score, i.e. I collected fewer apples than Jim. My apple count was lower/less than Jim's).
You would only say fewer if you included the word "points" in the sentence, i.e. you either say "he scored less" or "he scored fewer points". It would be wrong to say "score 35 or fewer" without the word "points" in there.
