On Alan Titchmarch show today (Mon) they were reviewing places to go on holiday
The county mentioned was Suffolk and they spoke about constable country and Dedham. Then they said the ideal place to stay was " The Pier at Harwich"

Wouldn't think that Harwich was ideal for Dedham or the rest of the Constable country; it's miles away to the East. Ipswich or Colchester are more convenient towns, better provided, and there are places to stay in Manningtree, which is just 'over the road' to the start of Constable country.
