No Subtitles in ITV1

I have not been able to get the subtitles on ITV1 today,all the other channels are OK.
Yet my daughter could see them on her tv,she has Sky,I have a Tivo Virgin Media box.
Is there anyone out there having the same problem?

turn your TV off at the plug for about 15 minutes this will solve it - good luck!!! And anytime this happens with any of your channels do likewise.

Subtitles are broadcast - it has nothing to do with your equipment, assuming of course that this is the only channel this happens on.

Never happened before except for a short period of time and an apology came up on the screen...which did not happen today...

Good Morning.Have tried what you suggested ,Connemmara,but it did not solve the problem.Spoken to Virgin,nothing doing there.But the funny thing is,we have a Tivo in one room and a HD+in the other.Cannot get the ITV1 subtitles on either!!!!

Subtitles now back!!!!
I rang ITV yesterday morning and they told me the problem definately lay with Virgin,they only dealt with Sky and a couple of others,can`t remember them.
However,subs came back in the afternoon,so Virgin must have looked into it as they promised.
