The Chase Quiz money offers

Can anybody work out how the Beast,Anne or perhaps I should say the producers decide how much the contestant will be offered. I would have thought that if somebody got 10 questions right and £10.000 the chaser would offer a low amount as the contestant is quite useful. Or the opposite if somebody is hopeless they would offer a big amount. But it does not work out like that. Why not?

It doesn't work like that, they reward good players with good offers and vice versa.
If you have a good cash builder, you earn the right to a better higher offer.
