Last Tango In Halifax - Caroline's House.

Does anyone know if Caroline's house has been used in a TV series before? It looks very similar (externally only) to one used in a series a few years ago that I can't remember the title of. It was about 4 sisters who met up again at the house after their dad had died (except that he wasn't actually dead).

I thought exactly the same thing, Dervla Kirwin, and one of the McCann brothers was in it, the house was the same or very similar. I'm gonna try and find out.

It's quite possible I suppose as if you're on the list you probably get your home used more than once. Lovely house, in Harrogate isn't it? Afraid I don't remember the series you mention.

Ladybird it was called True Dare Kiss. Locations for it say Greater Manchester and North West, locations for LTIH are Yorkshire and North West, so, none the wiser.

Answering my own question here - No, Nicola Walker wasn't in TDK. Just checked in imdb.

Well the house is in Altrincham. I found it here, taken from an interview with Sarah Lancashire.

"My newest series, Last Tango In Halifax, was, as the title suggests, filmed in Yorkshire and also in Altrincham, Greater Manchester, which was used for some of the film's Harrogate locations. The house I'm seen living in, in the series, is actually in Altrincham. I'm Lancashire by name, and Lancashire was where I grew up - in Oldham.

Yes I too recall the house being used beofre, it was a creepy programme to do with an inheritance I think. The school she was Head of was Bolton School, my daughter got very excited to see her old alma mater.

I always thought the True Dare Kiss house was on the Ellesmere Park estate, Eccles, Salford.
