Hi there what happened to Derek and how did he die?

he was being a bully and kicking off at max's house and when he walked dfown the steps with max, joey, the other brother and kat all telling him to feck off he collapsed with a heart attack

He had a heart attack in the square after a family argument.

My OH noted that just as he was breathing his final breath Joey actually called him 'Dad' - something he refused to do previously
