Miranda Hart, a confirmed spinster in real life, but desperate for a partner in her comedy sketches, made me laugh when she said that she hated going to the cinema alone.
She said that when she went to the cinema loo there was nobody who could hold her carton of popcorn while she was away.
After washing her hands, she dried them under the blast of hot air. Unfortunately, she had put the carton of popcorn on the floor immediately below the hot air blast and her popcorn was blown all over the place!
No wonder she won so many comedy awards in 2012.

I think this must be humour directed at women. I watched some of the previous series and found it totally humourless. I am at a loss to understand how this can be described as comedy. My wife also thought it poor. As Chummy in Call the midwife however I find her very entertaining.

well it may be directed at women but as a female if the species, it misses me by several miles.
I don't find her remotely funny - I turn off rather than watch any comedy show she's in.
I love her and find her hilarious, childish maybe, but funny.
I quite like her. I didn't watch any of the Miranda shows until after I watched Call The Midwife.
Same here Ummmm.
It's totally ridiculous...I love it! :)
I think that's it....it's just so daft that its funny.
I love her and love her show, it always makes me laugh out loud.
I love Miranda - it's innocent knockabout silliness and a refreshing change from laughter at another's expense.
I love Miranda ....such fun :)
Its what I call funny.
I like Miranda, I see a lot of myself in her. Clumsy I am !
I love her and think she's really funny , a bit like Frankie Howard the way she talks to the audience on the side.
I like her too. I watched one recently, and she isn't with the good looking bloke with the beard anymore (Tom Ellis?), I must've missed something. He's with someone else now. Can someone tell me what happened please.
She's just been on room 101 :-)
I have to say she is not my cup of tea at all...not funny.
I love it when she bursts into a song and can't stop.
With the exception of her appearance the is nothing whatsoever funny about her.
