I thought Fawlty Towers ended after one series. Obviously not if you watch this show. Jeez....extraordinarily toe-curlingly cringeworthy. And brilliant!

Told eldest Daughter who will be 50 in March we are treating whole of our Family to weekend there to celebrate. The look of horror on her face was hilarious. yuck yuck never. I believe hotel now been bought by a group but have put Mark in as some sort of events manager.!!! Hope the whole place refurbished and deep cleaned and new chef installed.And indoor pool given hygiene tests daily. But a brilliant programme.

The Grosvenor Hotel was sold to a Hotel Chain(Richardson's I think) in November,but Mark was kept on as Manager. This series was filmed in August.

ha ha I caught it last night, the GroSvenor, what an absolute dump, hate the bedrooms and would walk straight out if I was allotted one of those. And that lovely couple the Tinkers, what is he about????
