The woman police officer is very hard to follow, she seems to mumble. They're really dragging it out though. My version of the end is that the two lads were larking about, there was an accident and the other lad panicked.
David Tennant has no screen presence for me and his character unbelievable. If the dog has been shot by the cross-bow I shall be disgusted. Other than that I have no idea what's going on.
damn, i missed it!
that is his natural accent
Prudie, it wasn't a real dog ;o)
Just think of something unlikely and peculiar that makes no sense and you'll be as wise as us. I do like David Tennant though. And the dog.
Oh thank God sara, a sewn on dog ;-)
This programme is getting on my wick now but I've invested too much time to just stop watching. Did I miss something with regards to the dog, I know baldy aimed a crossbow at him but he didn't fire it did he?
no rocky, it's been left as a cliffhanger
Thank god for that, if he kills the dog I'm not watching anymore!
Two more episodes left but when I googled it a couple of weeks ago, Wikipedia made out that there were more episodes next year (but this has been changed now).
It's like a UK version of Twin Peaks! I've given up.
With the exception of interviewing the Pauline Quirk character, last night's episode got nowhere. Boring.

what is the medical condition dt has ?
Lol, it's kind of funny that we are outraged by a fictitious dog being slaughtered but a 10 year old boy is fair game :)
Dodger, I agree with that. When the end credits started I actually shouted 'of for gods sake!'.
why does he keep collapsing ?
We don't know yet.
thanks ev. i thought id missed something,
Evian that's just what I realised last night, the dog bit was the first that made my stomach churn except for the 1st episode when the mum was looking for the missing boy. I think the whole series has been over-hyped, it's so sprawling and fuzzy.
