You've got me demented now Naomi. I'm wracking my brains to remember if we were ever told about his dad, I know he was adopted at birth then came to find Emma. Off to google about.

Hiya Rocky, I don't know where he was born either. Where was Emma before she came to the town? And come to think of it, how did she get to the town - or is that where she landed when she was whisked off in the wardrobe as a baby - and if so, who raised her? Oooo ... I think I'm going to regret asking. The more I think about it, the more I know I don't know - if you know what I mean. :o/

From memory (which isn't great), I think she was adopted as a child (haven't been told who by), Henry came and found her in the city (Boston maybe) where she was working as a bounty hunter, she took him back to Storybrooke to be with his mum but decided to stay on. I don't think that was her intention at the start but the forces of Storybrooke made it so.

So he somehow knew she was his mother?

I can't remember how it all started. I only remember Emma being whisked off in the wardrobe.

I can't remember how he knew, it's going to bug me though so I'm off to Youtube to find out :)
