Dickstrawbridges Mustache (Hungry Sailors)

Am i the only one who wouldn't accept any food he was serving unless he covered up his mustache with a mustache cover much like some of the chefs with beards have to?
I find it rather off putting and him huffing and puffing away a cooking pot with no protection and in my day it was clean shaven or off to the dole queue!

I'm sorry but kitchen H&S hygiene is valid on boats, by water and even far out at sea when you're cooking for others. Would you be okay if he did a no 2 then came out and didn't wash his hands before touching cutlery and preparing food for his guests? What if his guests were your friends or family, would you still be okay with it? Would you be happy if he made your food then you found several large hairs in your food or mouth?
Big mustaches and beards are unhygienic FACT and you're required to keep them covered up with a beard net or other covering when prepping and serving food to the public. My guess is that the show guests must have to sign a legal waiver before appearing.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with Dick Strawbridge's "soup strainer" tash. My late grandfather, affectionately known as "Six Pint Charlie", had a similar one and although his soubriquet was well deserved he never wasted a drop of his evening beverages as he had the knack of sucking the whole of his moustache into his mouth and chewing it so that he wrung every last drop out before spectacularly blowing his tash back into place. Hygenic? Nah! Entertaining? Absolutely!
