you've got an hour on Sunday instead.
European Super Cup!! Come on its only once a year I am sure you can wait a couple of days!!
These soaps are on every week, several times a week. It gets moved once in a blue moon for a sporting event and all hell breaks loose! Going one night without Corrie will not kill you, or even hurt you. :)

No, But.....

It does if you hate football as much as I do!

i would imagine ITV's viewing figures have taken a battering but it's their own fault.
Hope this isn't going to be a regular move to Sundays - I go out Sun evenings. Flippin' football :(
//i would imagine ITV's viewing figures have taken a battering but it's their own fault. //

let's look at the evidence.
Celebrity Masterchef?
Big School?
a repeat of Mrs Brown?

nope, no battered viewing figures, not on that evidence.
Never mind. Nigel farage is on 'Any Questions' (R4)
I don't think so Dot...My old man is watching the football :o(
Oooo. I'll catch up tomorrow lunchtime Svejk.
ITV wouldn't have forked out all the money for live football if it wasn't worth their while.
Question Author
is that sarcasm? One is a repeat, the others aren't worth the coin in the leccy
Question Author
they don't consider the viewing figures where footie is concerned, just the advertising revenue

I mean, it's chelsea for gawds sake, who north of madrid gives a flying u kno wot about chelsea?
Well Chelsea fans would, obviously...And, I think men watch football no matter who's playing..I could be wrong.
Its also on Sky, why not just leave soap schedules as they are plenty of other channels for sport, I feel sorry for all the people who are looking forward to their regular programmes don't want to sound agist but the oldies!
There are bloody sports channels for f sake. Sport is not the b all and end all for the majority of the population so don't show it on prime channels. Grrr!!
Well said cari....
And they had the nerve to go to extra time, and then to cap it all penalties!
