Awful and sad programme, one poor lass has been sent to USA to live, because the family can't see anyway to protect her.

i can't understand why there is so much secrecy, by remaining quiet they are letting these men off their crimes, men who lie about their faith in order to get close to these girls.

I don't often speak out across cultures but if this is true, it is so stupid as to be criminal. Its easy to protect the family, you dob in the perps!

that is exactly what i don't understand, and sadly like the cases of the young white girls being groomed, they are Muslim men, of Pakistani origin mostly, that was the information given by the way in case in seems like another go at one group. The Sikh elder that was helping the girls and their families, going around to the communities, is doing a good job, but can't see why the girls are made to feel they are the ones bringing shame on their families. And even if the families are supportive why pack them off to foreign countries, where they know no one, like the lass who was sent 6000 miles away to USA. Her chances of marriage and family are slim to none, but if the parents actually thought about this, they are letting these vile men off the hook, and they will keep on doing it. If those who are interested do a catch up, interesting programme, and a subject that so far in their community has not been talked about. Bit of an eye opener.
