Do you say to yourself re the above programme - they bring in actors/actresses to talk about their part in either Emmerdale or whatever soaps.

Then when they are asked questions - no, I can't reveal that nor I can't stop about that etc. Their conversations are very boring indeed.

Why have them on if they can't talk.

I don't watch it, do they not chat generally with them ? Must be boring if all it is consists of 'can't say'.
then why watch? I don't.
Question Author
I don't usually but nothing was on the other channels - daytime TV is so boring as can night time.
Waste of space IMHO.
My Tv never goes on till 8pm, don't know much of the daytime stuff.

What do you do Mamyalynne during the day.
Housework, cooking, sometimes have the Grandkids over, chat on Skype, do Puzzles and Quizzes, nip to the shops and just lately attend umpteen health related appointments.

Oh and Answerbank.
Which one is running to the paper with a sob story this week ?

I listen to the radio if he TV is boring.
Question Author
Well you keep yourself busy Mamy - I too do walk the dog, cook, clean but I can do it all very quickly.

Not good at quizzes etc.
Question Author
woof I am partially deaf so don't hear the radio fully. Would love to hear it cos my sister has it on all day and she doesn't put her TV on until 6 pm.
Get some headphones Conne.
I don't have a telly, but I'm assured I missed a proper treat in Emmerdale last week
Question Author
Mamy I used headphones last week to hear a friend speaking on the radio. I heard most of it but I have to sit still etc - I do put the radio on some days and I enjoy the music. We have radio Ulster and I love Hugo Duncan - he is so cheery.
Treat yourself to some Wireless ones, have a boogie round as you listen.
I don't watch daytime telly, but each to his own (I suspect I could quite happily watch rubbish all day long but I must resist!)
well past its sell by date..........
Question Author
Mamyalynne - good idea of the wireless headphones. I have put the radio on this morning and know it is high but really enjoyed it.

A man from the public sang Are you Lonesome tonight. God I really enjoyed him.

I do think daytime TV is inane and insult to one's intelligence.
