Just watching this on BBC 4 about a seemingly very nice lady called Shani Rhys James. The majority of her painting involves looking at herself in a hand mirror then painting her face on a large coloured canvas. The picture are very similar. Is this modern art? Her stuff is exhibited but not appealing to me at all.
