I know we can not lay the blame for lack of information anywhere in particular, but has anyone else noticed that at the weekend & particularly Sunday the latest posts section is full of crosswords & quizzes & puzzles questions ?. I look forward every day to new queries that I can read & hopefully answer.
I have noticed though that quite a few are now posting crossword questions in the wrong sections- some have argued they do it deliberately as they feel posts are more likely to be noticed there as Crosswords is too busy
I'm not sure the volume of posts in other topics falls. If there is a topic you particularly like I think you can set your home page to that so you don't miss them
The Q&P and Crossword Sections are what entice a lot of us to use AnswerBank Ron.... If you're not into all that stuff I guess it's a bit frustrating. I could start a Sunday lunch thread if you like. x
It's part of what the site exists for. Forget latest posts and look on 'most recent'. You'll see 20 different threads on first page all posted this morning, none of which are crosswords (they must be filtered out).
I can rarely assist with the crossword queries, but sometimes need to post them myself. Besides, i always prefer seeing them to the links to the Daily Mail stories which can take over during the week!
