Why Do I Watch It?
Benefit Steet, it makes me so angry.

I was outraged when she tried to belittle her daughter cos she said she wanted to do something with her life. Weather she was joking or not (but I don't think so) she should be encouraging her not laughing at her. No wonder the cycle continues for some of them.

I watched it for the first and only time the other night. It doesn`t make me angry. Those people (that feature in the programme) live very disadvantaged lives for one reason or another. That might be their fault or it might not be their fault. Who knows what has gone on in their past to make them the people they are? Nobody`s perfect and I wouldn`t like to judge them from my (supposedly) perfect life.

Jeza, if you knew you were going to be on national tv would you allow the film crew to put manky furniture either inside your home or dump it in the street?
You look on Google Street View before the tv cameras ever went there and you'll see it was just the same then with rubbish everywhere.
It is true the crew gave some of the residents booze, fags and take aways but non-smokers wouldn't start smoking because they were free, nor would most people start drinking in the morning.
It is true that White Dee got sacked from Birmingham Council for stealing 13k from them; it is true that Black Dee has been charged with drug offences.
