Anyone watch this? I found it very moving especially as I have followed Musharatf's progress for a while.

Was a very good programme, nice to see a happy ending. Seems like the system they used works well.

Yes, to see their frustrations reduce and their confidence grow was heart warming.
This programme really touched me as i was a stammerer all through my school. Was very very tough, and effected me badly. Through the yrs I have taught myself what words to use and avoid to get my point across.
I get caught out now and again, and it can make me sweat.

I can see how very difficult it must be Pusskin, especially when people are in such a rush and you need time to get your words out.
I had a stammer as a child. When I was older, I had hypnotherapy and it went. Just like that . I feel so sorry for anyone with a stammer. It's so easy to rectify in 99.99% of cases. A friend of mine is a speech therapist and he says that stammers and lisps are the easiest to treat and get rid of.
Correct mamy, was very difficult. I never used to look anyone in the face while trying to talk, always shied away. Was murder.
Now i can talk till the cows come home. i feel really happy for them young folk on the tele.
There is still no universal 'cure' for stammering, treatment depends on several factors for each child/young adult. I would never describe this treatment as 'easy.'

Yes lisps can be sorted out quickly but not a stammer.

I realise each case is different but the programme hopefully gave some the inspiration to try again to get help.
Yes I watched it and had previously seen the educating Yorkshire programme with the lad Musharaf and felt so sad he had to go through it. Looking at the other programme it was plain to see how bad he was and I felt so much for him and his family who were distressed about his condition. How wonderful the stammer school helped him and the others, amazing progress and I do so hope that it continues for those who suffer this debilitating condition.
