Some great pics from this much loved series. Apart from Pike, it's sad that they're all now dead. I loved John Le Mesurier.

Great casting, I can't think of anyone who did not fit their character.

One of the best episode was when Mainwaring's drunken brother paid him a visit.

Yes I would watch it, but I would also be comparing it to the original.

I well remeber a young John Laurie in an old Will Hay film called "The Ghost of St Michael's".
Laurie was my favourite character. His meandering stories were great.

Wow what a great statue, I wonder how many people have had their photo taken beside it? I know I would love to have one taken.
