Underground Britain ...

Has anyone been watching? Presented by Rob Bell .. Series 1 Episode 2. I watched this today, fascinating! This episode concentrates on London. First ... a WW2 bunker that was supposed to be used as a secret military headquarters for central government. Then an old disused underground station ( Aldwych/ The Strand) .. Then to below the river Thames & Isambard Kingdom Brunels tunnel ... & lastly underground a South London cemetery ( Norwood) There's a bit of a countdown at the start & a couple of short breaks but well worth watching! http://www.channel5.com/shows/underground-britain/episodes/episode-2-656

I watched it last night, really interesting TV made a real change. I shall look out for it again next week when they're going to Yorkshire I believe.

This is the kind of TV program that I really like and its on my to do list to watch this coming week. More programs like this please, instead of all that daft, childish stuff that we get every day.

Was it the first one in Scotland I saw last week, where the national Grid is, bloody massive and didn't realize the complexity and what goes on that we take for granted.
