Pointless. Round 2, Tonight
Did anyone else see this? I know that in the past they have had some bizarre choices of subjects for rounds, but on tonight's show they had a round on Soaps - nothing out of the ordinary, you might think. But, some of the clues had me scratching my head though;
(Where were these soaps set?): Salem (1965 - ____) / Port Charles (1963 - ____) / Genoa City (1973 - ____)
I did manage to get Pobol Y Cwm, but the above three had me stumped (I did follow it to the end of the round, so I know the answers). I reckon that the majority of the people who watch Pointless might never have seen the above three soaps, and wouldn't have known them.

You can find it in Robert Burns' poem "There was a lad was born in Kyle" where, to predict his future, "The gossip keekit in his loof." (gossip = old wise woman, keekit = looked). The competitor was unlucky that they were using an English-biased dictionary; our "Chambers" dictionary certainly defines it.
