If this was live tonight, the actress who plays Lauren Branning has just had a baby girl and came out of hospital yesterday. Now what if she had a c-section and had to stay in hospital, would they have to have rewritten the whole episode.

Putting that aside, was she well enough to act on tonights show, though she looked in good health from the photos in the paper.

Though I noticed she was hiding her tummy in tonights episode, like she was still preggers. The photo in the papers of her leaving hospital were of a relatively flat tummy. Hmmm I wonder how live this episode was.

Thanks Ouzel.

How confusing, they are saying the live parts are at the beginning and end of the episodes, well thats not how it was portrayed on advertising it. I thought the whole episode was live.
Yes, it did seem to be advertised as 'live' all week.
Sammy,I don't watch, but while flicking round and with all the hype about I saw a reference to this week which said that some parts of each night would be live and would feature "#live" in the top right hand corner. The episode on friday is the total live one
I put this in the other thread.

Did anybody notice Dot C trying not to laugh when Barbra Windsor sat down in her house?
The live bits had the hashtag #EELive in the corner. I think one of the episodes this week is supposed to be fully live
Yes, it's only Thursday that is fully live.
I thought it was Friday night`s episode that was all live
Live TV has nearly always included some prerecorded portions of the programme, in the earliest days the prerecorded material was on film (usually location work or a chase or fight sequence) since video tape wasn't introduced to the UK until 1958.
I'm not really worried one way or the other because I haven't watched it for 20-odd years but...Radio Times clearly explains that Friday's episode is completely live and only parts of other days' episodes are.
I didn't see any hashtags in last night episode.
The #EELive appeared at the beginning and end of the show. I'm guessing that a lot of it had to be pre-recorded due to Jacqueline Jossa's announcing her pregnancy after the producers said they would do several live episodes last year.
Yeah...I assumed any scenes including Lauren had to be pre recorded...either that or she's superwoman...
I remember reading or seeing something last year that they wanted to do a whole week of live shows and some of the cast were horrified at the prospect.
What was the point of Peggy turning up?' Bit of a damp squib I thought!
In my opinion Barbra Windsor is one of the worst actresses ever. She was so lucky to get that role in EE, she would have melted into obscurity otherwise. Also the actors that play Nick Cotton ( dreadful actor) , Shamen or whatever her name is , Lucy, oh and don't get me started on Sharon Rolling Eyes, are all terrible. I love the rest though!
Mazood's daughter?

Shabnam?
I agree Samuraisin, when Barbara Windsor first played Peggy, she was diabolical at the acting, but seemed to improve a but as time went on.
