How To Help My Cyber Friend?

For several months, I have been attempting to free my friend from internet bullies who have been blackmailing her into sending nudes, changed her profile pic to that of a Nazi symbol, with the threat of posting the names and addresses of family and friends on websites that consist of Craigslist, the Deep web etc.

The girl is terrified of the probability of internet disciples attacking her family and friends, and she has told me in the past, that people have knocked on her door with the hope of getting into her knickers.

I have told her in the past that no one is going to hurt her family and friends duo to the threat of a prison sentence but Ruby (I have given her a fake name for obvious reasons)told me that the police do not give a ***, and that according to 'the feds' the strangers who have visited her have not committed a crime since 'visiting' is not breaking the law.

I will give you a few examples of how sadistic those bullies can be; the trolls keep posting the images of her nudes as well as the addresses of her family/friends. One scumbag even created a fake account posing as her deceased mother with taunts of 'Hello Princess, mummy is back from the dead'

Oh! and did I mention that one of the creeps have hacked into the camera of her computer/smartphone device with the goal of spying and listening to her conversations in the physical realm? The man in question has already told the girl of her personal conversations with her brother, dad etc after she refused to believe that he has been spying on her.


I have tried to help my cyber friend but because of the extremity of her paranoia and fear for the safety of her nearest and dearest, she carries on sending the bullies those dreaded images, who by the way, continue to go back on the deal and share the images/addresses amongst the communities on the inter webs.

Me and my friend have had a number of heated arguments over the fact that no matter how many images that Ruby delivers, the trolls will use it as a weapon of mental abuse and power to gather more images of her body and still post the address, but she carries on regardless.

She thinks that being forced into changing her profile to that of a Nazi symbol will not cause problems in her personal life, but I am sure it will and that is another topic that opens the doors to the furnace.

Her so called friends have told her that the trolls amongst the denizens who prowl the deep web are potential serial killers and rapists, all this has added to her fears.

We have never met, but we have been internet buddies for about 3 years.

Good luck? That does not answer my question, and do you think that she is just making excuses since Ruby thinks she is saving her family and friends by sending the trolls images of her nudes amongst uploading an Nazi image?

She should report the trolling to the admin at any and all of the sites involved, divorce herself from them and cease to respond to anything she receives by way of messages from these idiots.

If there is an association that helps those being bullied online where she is , then she should involve them too.

She has reported the bullies to the admins of the social media that she normally uses, but everytime the admin uses the ban hammer, the trolls keep returning under new names.

Even now, Ruby is begging the trolls not to unleash new images of nakedness to fellow trolls and sites including craiglist, Pornhub etc and the dark side of the net called 'The deep web' that is used by pedophiles, drug dealers to construct business.

She refuses to delete her profile image of a Nazi swastika duo to to fear, and when I warned her of the possibility that she could lose her job, she told me that me that her boss believes her and that 'everyone' in the city knows that she does hold such controversial philosophies.

Do you think that she is encouraging the trolls by making deals with them that include sending them images of her nakedness, despite the fact that trolls will just use them for futher blackmail?

She keeps making excuses that stop her from breaking free from the trolls.

I don't want to blunt but have you spoken to this friend on the phone? Do you know that she is a real person?

Have you seen any of the messages that she says that she has received?

That is my point towards Ruby in number of heated arguments. According to Ruby, she is helping her family and friends amongst the friends/families of the said friends along with cyber randoms who she hardly knows. That's right, she is 'saving' randoms from 'harm' by shredding her self respect.

I am currently thinking of moving away from her bs because Ruby is now erupting in a cyber tantrum blaming people for the spider's web that she has got herself tangled. According to Ruby, I am not a 'true friend' because I apparently do not understand her reasoning for following the trolls orders.

Trevor,I wrote a reply which included the phrase "spider's web" and which I deleted before I read your latest post as I didn't want to be inflammatory or disparaging to your cyber friend.
However, it sounds like Ruby, if she exists, is an attention-seeker and/or liar and is drawing you into her web. You have given her advice to which she gives excuses for not following.
As Mamya says, say goodbye or ignore her.

I have only spoken to the girl on the net, but I have seen images andYT videos of the girl in question. The trolls have previously blackmailed her into making a video of her apoliguising for answering them back and that she is the internet troll's slave.

She recently sent another batch of nudes to an internet troll who is threatening to send his fellow troll brethan the nasty images. I told her that the creep has most likely sent the images to his friend and is obviously taking sadistic pleasure from watching her beg him not to show any the nudes.

This might sound harsh, but I told her that the only way to end the blackmail is to call his bluff and if the blackmail ends with the creep posting the imagery then so be it, because the majority of the sites have already seen her nudes. I am just trying to free her from future blackmail.


But she accused me of encouraging the trolls by telling her that the pervert had probabily show his friend the images, who by the way is also blackmailing her.

I just found out that she has sent a troll images that show a cut on the back of her body, accusing the troll of sending someone who tackled her and attempted to pull her pants down.
