Did anyone else watch this last night ? I was on the edge of my seat, watching it through my fingers ! We should have more of this young man on our telly....his enthusiasm is very infectious.

I couldn't understand how they extricated themselves from that terrible storm so easily though. One minute it was blowing a gale and everything was flapping around over the edge, and the next they descended just a little and all was calm. I wonder if the filming was severely edited. (Privately I think they're potty! Why would you?).
I expect they do it for the same reason that Malorie climbed Everest....because its there !
Those scenes on "Scorpion Ledge" had to be the ultimate in look-thru-the-fingers TV viewing.
Backshall is a TV natural, and seems to have inherited Attenborough's marvelous gift. Lets hope there are more of this type of program on.
Worth paying the TV licence alone !
