It seems to have undertones or overtones or whichever it is of the film The Others. I found the scenes with the Roundheads and the hangings quite frightening as this would have occurred for real during the English Civil War.

Oh yes! I've seen The Others. I'd forgotten about that film. Nicole Kidman, wasn't it?

Quite possibly Naomi although whenever we see the woman in the red parker she never looks scared as if shes seen a ghost. She always seems to be shouting at someone. Oh well, guess we'll have to wait and see.

Yes it was Nicole Kidman and if I remember rightly the twist at the end caused quite a stir when the the film first came out.
