Just watched the ground-breaking 1966 drama, Cathy Come Home. Noticed that Tim Brooke-Taylor had an uncredited role in it. Does anyone know which part that was?

This is curious. The IMDB website definitely confirms he played a part in it but doesn't state which character.

I've looked at around a dozen websites since my last post and each time Tim Brooke-Taylor is listed as "uncredited".

It looks like he played a character that was not given a name and only appeared fleetingly. I suppose it was something along the lines of the actor who plays the postman in Coronation Street - he plays the part but is never given a name.
Good game for a wet afternoon - spot TBT in CCH :)
wet afternoon???? where are you?
I didn't mean THIS afternoon, gina :)

I've not deleted it yet so I could end up studying it frame by frame - I'm a bit compulsive that way - someone put me out of my misery
Thanks for that hc4361 I did wonder.
Cathy Come Home was Tim Brooke Taylor's first tv appearance and had no lines nor a name so he was very cheap. An extra. It is possible that he was only partly in shot.

I think you're going to have to watch it frame by frame if it bothers you that much, pipdawg
If it was TBT first tv appearance with no lines or name, indeed an extra, surely he wouldn't even have merited an uncredited name check.
Ken Loach was also uncredited in CCH

Yes Janzman. I have been an extra in loads of productions and have never had a mention - uncredited or otherwise
You have to watch it again, pipdawg, and tell us how much exposure he gets on screen. :D
I have just watched the credits on Cathy Come Home on iPlayer and as expected, Tim Brooke Taylor is not credited.
I don't know about TBT, but I did spot grandad from OFAH!
I've been trying to find the answer just using Google. I have now used the will to live. I may try again later.

Or you could ask him via Twitter or his fan club (if he has one)
hc, that's what uncredited means when it's on IMDB. He was there (so they say) but it wasn't put on the end credits.
Exactly. Just like an extra

He may have been the man carrying the coffin, 25 minutes in
The chap carrying the coffin looks a lot older than 26
