I think it is a 'cunning plot' to get us all mentally active and keep dementia at bay. We have done lots of crosswords, just one left - Scrabble sounds good, haven't played it for a while. TV? 'Midsommer Murders' burbles away happily enough in the background. I don't think we've watched more than 6 hours in the whole of the festive period (including news). Dire...

100% agree Caribeing, so many old films from the 50s/60s, H/Potter again & again, M/Wise, Vicar of Dibley, even the news kept repeating about Carrie Fisher, George Michael for 3 days.
Looking forward it to Mikey. I really like the story lines but I hate violence on TV (it's the sound effects) makes me a bit queasy so I have to have the laptop on so I don't see the 'thud thud thud...and then lots of blood/death'
I knew a lovely chap in France, whose Dr. said 'just 1 glass a day'. You've guessed it - he bought one of those glasses which holds a bottle of wine. Still alive, last I heard. x
