Hmmmm. Apart from thinking that the Ben Chaplin character was smarmily unattractive, couldn't stop thinking two things: Ben Chaplin's head is too big for his body; and Emily Watson is the double of Jim Kerr of Simple Minds! Couldn't concentrate after that.

I did think Ben Chaplin looked like a bit like a waxwork but that aside, I enjoyed it.

The fact that she was in a prison van indicated that it won't end well.

I knew I'd seen Ben Chaplin before but it just wouldn't come to me until my OH said he's the one in Mad Dogs, which was brilliant in my opinion.

Didn't think Ben Chaplin was anything like the Mark in the book although the Yvonne character was almost exactly how I pictured her. Of course I could have just absorbed the publicity beforehand without realising it. Why did they change the husband's name to Gary? He looked far more like a Guy, as he was in the book.
